PMQG: Elfster Gift Exchange

This past month the Philly Modern Quilt Guild finally had our annual Elfster gift exchange. We try to hold this exchange in January, to give everyone enough time to finish. Last year I think we finally had it in February. This year we had a St Patrick's Day exchange instead!

My draw was Nancy. On her list she had Black and White fabric and colorful placemats. I made 4 placemats with a yellow braid off center. Found various black and white fabrics. I also included homemade items including wildflower soap, green tomato relish, and dill pickles, a jar of raw honey and a mug.

My gift was from Janet. She made me a tool holder which will come in handy for our next retreat. She also got me two new rulers. One is a circle ruler and the other is a 12' square ruler.

It was so nice to see everyone again at our meeting!!
